My Restaurant Rules II

I've been spending the last two weeks watching episodes of My Restaurant Rules Season 2. If there's one thing that I miss about Brisbane, it is not being able to catch this show and feel the intensity of the restaurant launches in Brisbane itself. It's good to know that this season Channel 7 has improved the format of the competition. Actually to give a small background info on this program, it started a year ago when they showed Jamie Oliver's Jamie's Kitchen. Seeing how the superstar chef turned his restaurant into something sort of like Big Brother meets cook-show. Looks like reality TV really is the way to go.

The first season wasn't as exciting, I mean each of the cities got a fixed budget, a premise and they were expected to open a restaurant of their choice with that amount. This year, the couples were given a premise, a start up capital but they had to earn their money as they went along. So the judges Pat, Cat and Matt were present to see who deserved the money best. Basically makes things more competitive and exciting to watch.

Brisbane this year fortunately is being represented by Todd and Francesca. So far, they have the best food and the best restaurant. Go Brisbane!!!!!!

All pictures were taken from the Channel Seven website.
